As promised starting this week I will be releasing pictures of my brand new AW14 collection, in preparation for its arrival. These were originally scheduled for production in early August ready for delivery September, but my lovely factory are able to fit them in sooner. Fingers crossed you may just be able to buy them sooner rather than later! So without further a-do, here is the first product of many exciting new ones.

Yes that’s correct an even more luxurious Bettie robe, and you thought it couldn’t get any better. This deep and rich purple is set to be the hottest colour trend this season and the metres of fabric in this robe will make sure you stand out in it. Did you know that there are roughly 5 metres of fabric in this robe, that’s 5 metres of pure luxurious 100% Silk wrapping itself around you. I could wax lyrical about silk for days on end about how luxurious it is and the special properties that it has as a fibre, but all you really need to know is that silk is pretty awesome to wear next to the skin. In fact this is the first in a series of items from Betty Blue’s Loungerie that will be produced in silk so I will probably do a separate post on its magical qualities.

Anyway I digress, this robe shape ‘Bettie’ is one of our best selling items. The robe has been cut to flatter a variety of body shapes. It nips you in at the waist to create curves, and has coverage in the skirt and bodice to fit various bust and hip sizes. The robe is fitted at the shoulders however, so you never look frumpy or ‘old fashioned’, just 100% old school Hollywood glamour at its best. You won’t be able to stop yourself from floating around your boudoir elegantly, gliding down a sweeping staircase or drinking champers whilst lounging on a chaise longue.
Ok so technically this isn’t a brand spanking new item, as we have seen this robe before in various fabrics. I promise that the next post or so I will have for you a new new product, a brand new shape to add the Betty Blue’s repertoire. You will just have to keep checking back.
