It’s our favourite month here at Betty Blue’s! We love when the leaves start to crunch towards the end of September, the nights start to get a little colder and we can curl up by the fire in a silk satin gown with our favourite book and a mug of hot chocolate.
While silk’s light as air texture makes it much more comfortable in hot weather than cotton or woollen fibres, it’s very efficient at keeping you warm during the colder weather too! As silk has low conductivity, warmer air is kept close to the skin keeping you toasty warm – what could be better for the autumn (and winter) months? Our two previous A/W ranges have been full of silk for this reason; it’s the perfect fabric no matter the weather, and adds a beautiful touch of luxury to every day life.
